From the Founder

The jar I make
for my own kids.

Wild Spoon started in our kitchen.

Before this, I spent ten years in healthcare: at Boston Children’s Hospital, as an EMT, and as a health coach. That work shaped the standards I bring into our home.

When I became a mom, I started making the things I wished I could find on the shelf. Warm. Real. Made with ingredients I trusted. Nothing overcomplicated. Nothing I had to second-guess.

Warm Spice became the cup I made when the house needed something comforting and nourishing.

Friends tried it. Then their friends did.

It’s still made by hand, in small batches, right here on Cape Cod.

FAQ's

Things people ask.

If you've got one we haven't covered, write to us. We read every email.

Is Wild Spoon a tea?

Yes, in spirit. Not in technicality. There are no tea leaves. It's raw honey infused with organic herbs and spices that dissolve into hot or cold water. Same warm cup, cleaner ingredients.

Does hot water destroy the honey's benefits?

No. Raw honey's enzymes begin to break down around 140°F. When you stir honey into water cool enough to drink, you're well below that threshold. Wait a minute or two after the kettle, and you're good.

How many servings are in a jar?

Depends on how strong you like it. At one to two tablespoons per cup, most people get two to three weeks from a jar.

Can I use it cold? Or in other things?

Yes. It dissolves great in hot water, but it's also good as iced tea, in smoothies, oatmeal, yogurt, or off the spoon.

Is it safe for kids?

Kids over twelve months, yes. Honey shouldn't be given to infants under one.

Why is there texture in my jar?

That's the herbs and spices. We don't strain them out - the longer they sit, the more their flavor and nutrients infuse into the honey. Give it a stir.

How long does a jar last?

Raw honey is one of nature's best preservatives. Stored at room temperature, your jar will stay good for months.
